The Amber Deposit of Partynice

The amber deposit of Partynice was a huge store of raw amber from the 1st century BCE, discovered in what is now Wrocław.

It is considered the world’s largest archaeological amber find. The documented amount of raw amber was at least 1,240 kg. Before part of the find was stolen, its original amount is estimated to have been as much as 1,760 kg.
