Israel Keyes’ Hidden “Kill Caches”

American serial killer Israel Keyes buried what he called “kill caches” in different parts of the United States long before planned crimes. These sealed containers held items such as weapons, ammunition, silencers, zip ties, tools, and other equipment.

He left some hidden for several years. This meant he could fly to another state without a weapon, rent a car, dig up a prepared cache, and then look for a random victim. The FBI believed that some caches might still be undiscovered and could contain evidence connected to unsolved killings.
