A Gorilla’s Reaction to Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal, who is 216 cm tall, says that male gorillas react especially strongly when they see him during zoo visits.

The former NBA star even asked Ron Magill of Zoo Miami about it. Magill confirmed that a gorilla there seemed intimidated by Shaq’s size. When it saw him, it stood up straighter and tried to look bigger, treating the powerful basketball player like a possible rival.
